500th Post Giveaway!
Posted By Faith and Family Books on November 10, 2008
This is a fun little post to announce that we have made it to our 500th post! In some ways, it seems like there should be more, yet in other ways it is hard to believe we have written that many posts!
In celebration style, we would like to host another giveaway to celebrate yet another milestone. By the way, in October we broke the 4300 mark for visits to this blog…up over 1300 since our last contest in September. Thank you to all who visit and read!
To enter, just leave a comment any time between today and November 24th. To have your name entered twice, just post our giveaway on your blog or website or simply refer a friend to leave a comment. Let us know you have done so by leaving a comment with the link.
What you will win: a Lamplighter Book or a book from our New Character Collection (TBA – To Be Announced).
The drawing will be held on November 24th and the winner will be posted by noon of the same day.
Thanks for joining yet another celebration here at Faith and Family blog!

What a great way to celebrate!!
Thanks, we thought so too!
Congratulations on your milestone! Wonderful! I hope your new book line does well!
Thanks, Magen. We hope so too.
Hey G’s! we’re excited for your progress with your blog.
Congratulations on reaching another milestone. Got any book recommendations for raising boys?
I posted this on thewelltrainedmind.com website too. That should generate tons of traffic in the next 3 days.
Thanks, Katie! You are down twice!
Nice contest idea! Please throw my name in the hat. I’ll mention you over at my blog, too.
Gotcha in twice, Jenny.
Thanks!
Magen, yes that can count as a second entry!
Thanks!
Hi there!
This is Esther, we were the family that met you all at Liberty Day earlier this year, and then the book sale later on, talked to you about Lamplighter books.
Hope you all are doing well! Here’s my comment, and I have posted on my blog about your contest. (http://forthekingsglory.wordpress.com/2008/11/15/book-giveaway/)
God bless you all! Please say hi to everyone for me!
Esther
I’m putting my name in, too! I am a bookaholic!
I’ll put this up on my blog too! Thanks.
Mary Caliendo
Good to “see” you again, Esther. Thank you for entering and posting about it on your blog. Yolu are officially entered twice.
We are keeping busy. I am sure our oldest will be pleasantly surprised to hear that you commented and entered our give away.
Mary, you have been entered twice too, although I did not see your post on your blog yet.
Blessings to you both,
Theresa
Thanks!
Yeah, we’re busy too, can’t believe how much has happened this year! Please tell her hello for me!! If she wants to email me, I’d love to keep up that way if she wants to.
God bless!
Esther
2008 seems to have slipped by like the wink of an eye. First is was January and now we are in the midddle of November…unbelieveable!
She was very pleased to have learned of your comment here. I made note of your email and blog for her and will pass along your message. She loves to write so I am sure she would love to keep in touch with you either via email or snail mail. Have you visited her blog at virtuousgirlhood.com? I cannot recall you commenting over there, but I am sure she would love to keep up with you via blogging.
Enjoy the Lord’s day tomorrow,
Theresa
I know! It’s really something how fast this year has gone!
Ok, great! She can email me any time, have quite a few books to talk to her about.
No, I didn’t know she has a blog, thanks!
You too, have a wonderful rest of the day!
Esther
I am really glad I found this blog. Great Job!
I really enjoyed your blog, thanks.
Now THAT IS what I call an insightful position on this subject. What I would suggest though is speaking to other people actively involved in the scene and bring to day any other points of view and then update your blog or create a new article for us to read. I hope you’ll take my advice, I’m looking forward to it! Try to cover off on some graffiti characters as well if you can, they’re very popular at the moment.
Thanks for dropping by, Lynn. I almost deleted your link without watching it, but it was truly amazing how the artist drew his picture.
While I can appreciate the art work of the graffiti artists, I do not agree with where they place their art. Like on residential homes and garages, that is vandalism and our family member who had this done, it wasn’t even beautiful art. It just was writing that should not be on the back of a residential garage!
Graffiti artists would serve those wanting wall murals in gymnasiums, youth centers etc, very well. Most cities do not want their buildings vandalized.
